Do I Have Culture?

by

Through a series of activities, readings, discussions and video viewings, students investigate what culture is and learn about the importance preserving cultures. Each student first looks at his/her own culture and determines what culture means. Next, students discuss the preservation of culture and, through hands-on activities, discover the difficulties of studying cultures when there are many pieces missing. Finally, students study the importance of protecting culture from black marketers who sell stolen artifacts. Keywords
